London, United Kingdom – Independent developer Anh Do announces the release of Writing Kit 1.1. This major update features Dropbox sync, image uploading to CloudApp directly from the photo library, and a built-in Markdown cheat sheet among other niceties.

Writing Kit is a robust Markdown editor for iPad that comes with advanced, full-featured researching tools. WIRED Gadget Lab calls it “a mobile research room for iPad” while AppAdvice praises “If you’re one who frequently use Markdown and do research while writing, then Writing Kit is definitely for you and worth the admission price”.

With the addition of Dropbox sync functionality in the latest release, Writing Kit further integrates into the writers’ workflow and allow them to truly use the app for all their writing needs.

Version 1.1 contains the following changes:
* Added: Dropbox sync
* Added: Image uploading to CloudApp directly from your photo library
* Added: Markdown cheat sheet, accessible via the Info button
* Added: Auto-save current documents every 10 keystrokes
* Added: Default file extension setting in the Settings app

* Fixed: Multiple paragraph insertion from the Insert Quote dialog
* Fixed: Files sent from external apps are kept in Inbox folder instead of moving to Documents
* Fixed: File manager & Tasks menu sizes no longer stuck when you open them while the keyboard is presented
* Fixed: Keyboard is now correctly dismissed when switching between browser and editor
* Fixed: Popovers are dismissed when switching to the editor from the browser
* Fixed: Preserve cursor position after using Preview/Quick Research/the browser
* Fixed: Markdown source code posting to Posterous is now wrapped in
* Fixed: Helvetica is now used instead of Arial in Preview

* Removed: File auto naming
* Removed: Auto-archive Instapaper unread items
