SayMedicine is an application developed for healthcare professionals and students. It is a quick reference tool that allows users to listen to pronunciations of challenging complex medical terms and instantly research the term online. The app comes with a built in browser that allows the user to look up each word on WikiPedia, eMedicine, and Google with a single click.
“One of the reasons why SayMedicine is a popular app is because we respond to our users’ needs. Our customers regularly communicate with use through the app and requests features and content they would like us to add,” said Santhosh Cherian, the founder of SayMedicine. The application is currently being sold regularly in several countries around the world to students and healthcare workers.
The community driven application allows users to instantly provide feedback to the developers from within the app. If a user cannot find a word they are looking for, they can simply click the “New Word” button to request it in future update. There is also a “Report Issue” feature that allows the users to submit any problems with the existing data. SayMedicine’s team addresses all user issues and tries to incorporate user requested features and content into future updates.
